I feel like I'm watching 2004 election day night all over again. Where "No sane universe would elect Bush to a second term!" and it turns out Americans are just as fucking stupid 12 years later. Nothing learned, just more fucking stupid than before

I don't know how I keep underestimating human stupidity and selfishness. Somehow, despite my piles of cynicism, I keep having faith in humanity.
