So, continuing the theme of laughing my ass off at Sonic the Hedgehog does pop songs, and the fan love that ILuvKnucklesShadow gives, here's Barbie Girl.

The pink hedgehog is Amy, or Amy Rose, or SonAmy, depending on which source you're reading.  Because, you know, there was the original video game, the television show, later video games, etc.  And then the international versions. I have the impression the character's name evolved a bit, depending on the market and medium. That happens to the supporting cast, because who remembers their names, anyway, right?

Here is the original, by Aqua.  I always thought this song and video made such fantastic satire of the materialism of Barbie, the materialism of modern life, and just the sheer fakeness of everything.

I am having Nightmares of Trump

I am literally having nightmares at the real nightmare of Trump in the White House.

Even if this asshole doesn't occupy the White House - the nightmare that he has unleashed will persist - America is a land of degenerates and selfish tits.  

Fuck the lot of you selfish tits.

At this point, I have no hope to sway the election. The chips will fall where they may, but the damage this sick turd has done will persist for decades.

There is no "reconciliation" after this - there is only smashing the cockroaches back into the dark ages of the 1930s from which they crawled.  Purge America of the cancer of selfishness, racism and stupidity.  There is no "taking back America" - there is only going forward and growing up - evolve or die, you bed-wetting sexist, racist prigs.

If you think you can survive a Trump presidency, it means you don't care about those who can't.

By all those many more people who voted for Clinton than voted for him.

If you'r still pissed off over the results of the primary so much so that you're voting for that Anti-Science Anti Vaxx whacko Stein, then say hello to President For Life Führer tRump . By voting for a third party you are throwing your vote to tRump. Bernie Sanders said quite clearly he is against that. In this election, Ideological Purity is a Luxury.

With a conservative reactionary GOTP majority House and Senate, Trump will sign any fascistic bill put before him by McConnell and Ryan.

Also in the next President's term anywhere from one to four SCOTUS justices will be nominated to the bench. With that conservative majority in the Senate and tRump in the Presidency, you'd be guaranteeing an extremist right wing SCOTUS for the next 20 years. And not just the SCOTUS, but also in the superior, appeals and circuit courts. By ensuring a tRump presidency you would also be ensuring that every progressive effort over the last 40 years will be in jeopardy - Voting rights, abortion rights, same-sex marriage etc. BECAUSE you decide to have a temper tantrum over Sanders not being elected to be the Presidential nominee of the Democratic party.

The fact is that you have been lied to time and time again. However, since a lie travels around the world by the time a truth puts on its shoes, you believe in every Kochroach inspired lie about Ms. Clinton. You've been played for a fool for believing in those lies. And are twice the fool for believing them.

Bernie Sanders may not have won the Democratic primary but he certainly won a huge battle. If Hillary Clinton wins the election, Sanders will have won the war. Now it's up to his supporters to continue the work by turning congress blue. That means voting in every single subsequent election! Including the midterms. Then, keep on top of your elected officials. Write letters. Make phone calls. Let them know that you are watching and you will remember them on election day. Remember. All politics is local. That's where you have the most influence. Its called getting involved and keeping involved. If you are not willing to do the work to ensure that what you think is important is put into effect, that says a lot about you and how much you value your ideals.

80% of the Sanders platform has largely been integrated into the Democratic Party's platform. What you forget is that the Perfect is the Enemy of the Good.

For me, I have an out as a dual citizen I can easily cross the Canadian border and watch you and the US figuratively and possibly literally burn. You will have to live with the consequences. Mocking the Bundy pricks, because they deserve nothing less

Because those Bundy pricks deserve to be mocked and ridiculed at every possible opportunity, I've captured this, so it will live as long as possible (long after Craigslist pulls it).

Also, Cliff Bramlett had this on his wall, so I captured the meme, and below that is what I wrote in response to that meme.

It will increase as long as there are sociopaths who live for power over others. The sociopaths who own the media sculpt the narrative, and sell the bullshit that armed terrorists holding taxpayer property for six weeks, denying taxpayers the ability to use their property, and denying taxpayer-employees the ability to perform the jobs the taxpayers are paying them to do, are somehow "not terrorists," but "merely protesters." 

"Protesters" my tight butt. The Bundy clan and their idiotic followers are selfish dung heaps worthy merely of contempt and ridicule. Oh, and dildos. I love how people sent them dildos as care packages while they were illegally occupying American taxpayer property. Dildos for dildos; exactly right.

Let's be real - this is simply going to embolden asshole white domestic terrorists like the Bundy assholes.

Right - I had no idea this G+ post would blow up the way it did. I mean, go read the comments. We've got some really creative ways of viewing the problem, and some really creative ways of dealing with the problem.  

I'm capturing it here, because G+ posts are indexed (and searchable) by Google, but the visibility of G+ posts sucks - it's like Facebook - a G+ post simply gets lost in the dust of time, but a blog post can last forever. (Yeah, okay, that was silly.)
