It's a very "meta" kind of metaphor. It requires you to recognize a couple common legendary memes (one very modern, one very old) and then understand how they are fitted together to vomit out a deep look into the shit that is.
So, you're either scratching your head, or you're trying not to feel sick (laughter is a great way to dodge that sick feeling).
